I can't speak for the B spec unit but I did buy the Profec controller which also works in the same fashion, Gain, Set, and high boost. I tried to tune my boost as per Greddy's instructions and boost curve was like a roller coaster, all over the place. I just went back to a manual boost controller, saved me tons of headaches.

So, no I believe tuning an electronic unit is more of a PITA. With manual unit you just turn the knob
