Default Greddy Turbo

I am planning on buying my s2k by the end of this year. When I get it, I want to go turbo. I will be paying for my car in cash and I want to go FI ASAP. So, I will need to know how much I will have to save prior to buying the car so I can turbo it when I get it. My goal is to get at least 300 hp dyno'd. Preferablly around 320 though.

Thanks for the help guys.

Kevin

Thicker head gasket, 12psi, EMS (not e-manage that comes with it)....and lastly tuned on Church's dyno

Not going to be easy hitting 320whp w/Greddy turbo. Some on here have.

you wont need a thicker HG with Methanol, a good tune and 12PSI

I will go bigger down the road, but the poer down low with this kit is AMAZING, especially for Daily driving, thing just rockets off the line

Those are perfect numbers! Do I have to change the clutch or any internals with 11 psi?
If you don't mind could you tell me or PM me how much your setup ran.

I don't want to go Inline because of reliability and CARB. My friend just got pulled over by San Diego PD and now he has to take off his turbo. I don't want to worry about the fuzz. Plus 317 HP is perfect for daily driving.

Well, if you're not planning on buying til the end of the year the new Greddy tuner turbo kit should be out by then. Hopefully they step the game up a bit.

Edit--> That's not gonna meet CARB for you though...

I heard about the tuner kit. What's the main difference going to be?

Inline is very reliable but the CARB thing I understand

I have it tuned for 12PSI, but it falls to around 10PSI at redline
I have a CC clutch stage 3 and a CC slywheel in my garage but my stock clutch (89,000miles) has held up great, no slipping at all.

The Methanol kit was 400, the tune was $500, I got it tuned twice, The kit was $3,900 with the BOV and the HFC was $250 and the exhaust was $600
