Thumbs up Greddy Turbo Owners who have the Profec B Boost

What is your desired PSI, what are your settings and do you ever have spiking etc?

Just curious, I am still fine tuning it, these temp swings dont help, I dunno if its better to have a lower SET value with a higher GAIN, or Higher SET value with Lower GAIN

for 12psi I use

Set 47
Gain 5
Set Gain 8

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, (spike, falling off), but its a "ballpark" figure of 12PSI, I dunno anymore, this is just one more reason why I want a Turbo kit with an external wastegate

Got mine sitting at around 14 psi

Set: 70%
Gain: 10%
Set Gain: 10

This changes with weather a bit. When it was summer, it required lots of fine tuning and I found that I had to lower set gain quite a bit to avoid spiking. Now that its winter down here, the EBC is behaving itself and allowing me to run a higher set gain. Dont ask me why.

interesting, I would thing it would be more prone to spike in the winter

I have the SET GAIN to 8, It doesnt seem to make much of a difference in spool time. It holds boost decent, the only problem I am having is with the SPIKING issues, I just dont think I can solve itr other then porting the wastegate, I just dont want to lose my motor to a 14psi Spike, my AFRS are alwasy in check and I do have the METH, but ya never know

I don't think the spike is as bad as the boost creep but it's still not good, Also the only way to figure out if your really getting a spike is to data log which is what I am tring to figure out. Why not keep lowering the setting until the spike goes away?

it might not, as we've been saying this is a COMMON issue for internal wastegate users. My 100% OEM subaru WRX spikes to 15psi when I floor it then settles at about 12psi and finally 10psi at redline. The only real remedy is a external wastegate...otherwise you just have to deal with it

Cause when I do that, I only can maintain like 10PSI, I would rather risk Spiking to 13PSI and be able to run at 12PSI, 10-12PSI makes a big difference, as does needing a new motor , but I also cant figure out how to properly set up the E-manage software, I DL it, and plugged my laptop but when I opened it, it asked for a CD for proper installation and I just could'nt get it to work, where did you DL the software from?
