Default gt turbo coolant lines

i am finishing up my kit and i was wondering where everyone running the gt series(35r, 30r etc.) turbos were tapping into for the coolant lines for the turbos?

Most of us have used an oil filter relocation kit and did not reuse the OEM oil cooler lines. We then use the lines from the stock oil cooler.

I ran the lines that normally go to the OEM oil cooler to the turbo.
Very easy to do. If you are not relocating the oil filter, you can still use the coolant lines from the oil cooler, just run the turbo in series with the oil cooler.

I bought an alum radiator and had -6 an bungs welded to it.

Left a nice clean install.

I have 2, -6an lines w/the fittings for my old 30r if you are interested in black, pm me.

Hey Adam, do you have any pics of this? I have a Koyo/FAL combo that I'm about to put in. I'd love to be able to weld some bungs for the turbo and oil cooler if possible! Is it ok just to tap on either side of the radiator?

I know I talked to you last night, but I'm going to post the pic here for anyone else that would be searching and find this thread.

This is on my Mishimoto rad, I used 2, 90 degree fittings and went right to my turbo. Now they are capped b/c my turbo doesn't require water lines, however they are there for future use if need be.

I'm sure there are other ways to do it, but there was enough "meat" there for my cousin to tig it. Worked out great in the car.

how do u know coolants flowing through them with this set up siadam? couldn't coolant just be sitting in the lines with out something pumping it through?

Of course it could be sitting in there, I have no way to measure the flow. Would be almost the same no matter where in the system you put it. I would "assume" that the flow of the system would move it through the lines.

I actually kept my oem oil cooler and just tapped into those lines. Its a tight fit but it currently working fine.

i have mine coming out of the block fitting(welded a -6 on there), u know its pumping through there, then through the turbo back into the top of the rad to a -6 fitting
