Default GT30R and E85, boost limit?

I know there is not a magical number, just looking for some thoughts/ideas.

I'm not shooting for a certain number on the dyno, just looking to max out my setup.

Anyways, what psi is the GT30R efficient to? What psi do you think E85 would safely support with the GT30R (on a stock block/head)?

As I said, just trying to get some info/input on maxing out my current setup.

what size GT30, what are your supporting mods. Intercooler piping size, are you still on the log, etc etc??

I think you can bump it up to 17-20 psi before it runs out of steam.

Thats said for an ELM but not too sure about the log since it needs more boost in order to make the same power an equal length would make at lower levels.

You're going to run out of injector.

No offense, but I'm not looking for thoughts on if my fuel system will support it. I'm asking about E85 and the turbo only in regards to what they can support. Assume everything else is sufficient to support it (and if its not it will be upgraded).

Basically I'm trying to make the most power I can with my current turbo, manifold, and E85. I can upgrade the fuel system more if I need to, but I'm trying to keep those three things the same and max them out.

Based on your mod's I am going to say the biggest limiting factor will be the turbo/ manifold and max whp will be in the 550whp range assuming you will have more injector as stated. What I would be most afraid of is the amount of back pressure and subsequent huge amounts of heat that will be created by the log manifold. I would highly recommend getting an egr and watch that bad boy on longer, higher load (3-5 gear highway) pulls as you will probably be frying valves! That's really the limiting factor of log manifolds. I think It will be a fast spooling beast though!

550whp is very relative to what dyno you is being used... What would you equate that to PSI wise? Would I probably be ok at 20psi? 22psi? 25psi? Just trying to get an idea of approximately where the limit is...

Yes, heat may be an issue, but I'm hoping the E85 should help with that some. This "maxing out" I am looking for would be very limited use anyways. I just want to run the fastest time I can at the dragstrip in my current setup and obviously upping the boost should help with that. For street/daily/autox purposes I'll stick with a max of 17psi (or less) on E85...

The dyno u use is low reading to say the least. There is no magic psi number. A guess would be 20-23 will be needed and that turbo will be working hard on a log to hit 500. To hit 500 on the dyno u dyno on will be impossible. My guess is your already over 400 as it is judging by your trap.
