GT35r VS S367 comparison
This is a prototype turbo that we are testing for them. i'll find out the price for you. this turbo is not water cooled so there is no need to connect water lines to this turbo.

Don't you think that maybe the S367 would do a bit better with a .8 or .82 A/R turbine wheel and get some of that torque back?

maybe im not seeing it but I see the 35R making the same power as your 67mm turbo. I understand the 35R is going to drop out on top but to me it looks like the 35R is right on that 67mm ass

I think the scale of the dyno makes them look pretty close, but if you had to choose....wouldn't you take 25 more ponies if the areas under the cirves were all that different and you had plenty of RPMs of great power? Personally I like the fact that a journal bearing turbo that makes similar power isn't all that far behind in response. No water lines to run and possibly a cheaper turbo to buy. Also the possibility of a rebuild down the line and longer lifetime over a ball bearing turbo....from what I hear. In the end, it's just nice to have some options.
Bigger turbos want more boost to hit its efficiency range. im not saying s367 is a better turbo than a Gt35r, for what im doing this turbo suited my applicatiin better. with gt35r i didnt have traction at 85mhp. With this turbo loosing 30hp in midrange helped me gain that traction prob but it made up for it at higher rpm. I'll dyno it again with higher boost levels once i get my fuel system setup.
