Default GTX3584RS dyno numbers are in!

Basic build...

• Garrett GTX3584RS 67/68, T4, twin scroll, 1.06 A/R
• Schmuck Built manifold, intercooler, and 3" piping.
• AEM Infinity 508 with flex, fuel press, oil press, and o2 sensor.
• Stock intake manifold and throttle body.
Let me know what you guys would recommend for future upgrades. I'd like to get the TB and IM ported.

Car made 390 whp on 93 octane @ 8 psi (wastegate)
Made 408 on E30 @ 8 psi
Made 416 on E60 @ 8 psi
Made 488 on E70 @ 12 psi
Made 516 on E70 @ 15 psi
Made 565 on E70 @ 17 psi
Made 635 on E70 @ 21 psi

Tuned by Rob Reinen of Prayoonto Racing (yes, thee Prayoonto Racing!). We still had some 93 octane left in the tank so E70 was as high as we could get it. Should make 650 whp on E85 and 675 whp on E98. Stopping here for now while running stock engine, trans, and rear diff.

Running boost by gear vs ethanol content. If I pump in 93 octane at any time, it'll dial the boost back. 1st and 2nd gear get wastegate, 3rd gear gets 17 psi and 4th through 6th get 21 psi. The car hooks flawlessly on the Mickey Thompson 275/40/17 ET Street Rs. Love this setup!

Let me know what you think!

Thanks for posting this! I've been contemplating hard between this and the 3582. Im pretty surprised at the spool time of this. I'm guessing you went veryyy soft on the IG timing? That's alot of turbo for sub 750hp

Current setup is temporary until funds are available for a built motor, cd009 trans, and ford 8.8 diff. Another reason as to why i got the infinity 508, I'd eventually like to be running eight 1650cc injectors. I'm hoping the car will break 1,000 whp down the road. Timing depends on the amount of boost and ethanol % but at 21 psi and E85 I've got 20 degrees.

Care to post your eth IG map? Im more interested in the low-mid timing. Just wondering if the spool time could be increased there. I knew this turbo would be a bit lazier than previous setups ive had. My thought was to use a quickspool valve with a divided housing. Not sure how reliable those things are though

I'm up in Whitestown. You ever go to Greenwood for shenanigans?

Not recently, but I had planned on possibly going to Fathouse to have him finish up the intercooler piping. Blevins used to tune there and is a good friend of mine.

Is this a track only car? If not, what does the good look like with the exhaust dumping there.

Nice numbers! I bet that torque curve is quite favorable for traction and also for drivetrain longevity

The car is at Eccentric Motorsports right now getting the exhaust turned into a fender exit. Wastegates will still go out the hood though the DIY mod

Yep, between the torque curve, boost by gear, and the Mickey Thompsons, there's always traction. Haven't broken anything yet!
