Turbo charged cars will put out more power than supercharged for the same fuel and pump. The supercharger has a parasitic drag that saps torque and horsepower. My F20c supercharged is still going with a Walbro 255 at 500 rwhp.
Like Doug used in his land speed record car, the boost-a-pump combined with your Walbro 255 is all you need for 700+ rwhp.

the boost a pump just being an inline fuel pump that increases the flow of fuel correct? installs in the feed line from the tank correct?
No a boost a pump increases the voltage to the pump to say 17v instead of 12-14v that usually comes from the battery. This allows the pump to work harder and push more volume.
Yeah it's definitely worth doing, and it's really easy. All you need is a relay with an amp rating high enough to handle the pump load. I think I used a 30amp relay, wire the factory fuel pump wires onto the coil side of it, and run a 10ga from the battery positive to one relay contact, and from the other relay contact to the fuel pump. Then a 10ga ground from the fuel pump to a bolt back there and it's done.
I honestly won't ever run a high horsepower car without a rewired fuel pump. The factory wiring is just too small for the load the fuel pump sees.
Oh, and if you look at that page, you'll notice that the denso twin turbo Supra pump flows better than the walbro 255 does. It's also quieter. I could never stand the noise from the walbro pumps, I'd be running a supra pump over a walbro if it fits...
I've wanted to do this for a while. Now my battery is in the trunk, it wouldn't take much.
Question is...what is the relay for, and where do you pick one up @ ?
The relay is used so that you can run the wire straight from the battery. You then use the stock fuel pump power wire (which is ignition powered rather than off the battery) to switch on the relay. This way you get the max voltage to the pump with OEM engagement at key-on. You can get a 30A relay at pretty much any automotive store.
A relay is an electrical switch that opens and closes under the control of another electrical circuit. I picked up a 30 amp from autozone, just ask for a relay from a ford truck radiator fan.
