You can shove parts all over the place. Destroy the block, freeze up the block and ruin other stuff, and even destroy the head you just rebuilt. I thought of doing what you are but decided to do it right and fully the first time. Less stuff broken and less money thrown away. Now on the other side if you got money to burn jump on in and good luck.

Damn GDM, I was about to support you. I was going to say if you have the money and don't mind being stranded when it blows then go for it.
But then you go and say "I'm broke after this little project" (sorry for the corrections) and throw it all away. When are people going to learn that cheap FI is the most expensive? What happens when you blow the engine and are "broke"? No car!
