Yea true... When I installed the kv I still had grey blue smoke on boost

I will post the leakdown and compression results tommorow.

Reviving this old thread because I just bought this car and thought the issue was resolved... its not. I just drove it 1500 miles and it consumed 2 gallons (yes 2 Gallons) of Rotella 5w40.

So here's the details:

No weird noises,

Both intake manifold and intake pipes are clean, no oil present in either.

Compression test results
1-205
2-225
3-225
4-230

underside is clean, no visible oil seepage, (minor stuff like valves cover gasket, but no where near 2 gallons worth.)

The exhaust seems a little oily though. Is there a way for the turbo to somehow spit the oil out the exhaust and not into the engine?

Could be a bad seal in the turbo. Did you check what your sparkplugs look like?

That's what a sparkplug looks like when your engine burns oil.

The compression seems ok.... all 4 cylinders burn oil, so I wouldn't guess it's a leaking valve seal. It would be a bit weird if all of them are leaking just as much.
There is another cause that forces oil into the cylinders.

I would start with new sparkplugs. Then disconnecting the pvc hose to the intake manifold, and connect it to a catchcan.
After a while, check your sparkplugs again and the catchcan if it's full

I already have a saikou michi dual catch can connected as follows:

The top ports on the CC - one goes to the intake pipe just behind the air filter and another line to the intake manifold stock location. Both these lines have a krank vents one way valve. (So im assuming the (+) boost in the intake manifold cant go into the catch can.

The lower ports go to both stock ap2 valve cover locations. Catch can is no where near full and like I said intake manifold and piping are clean.... im stumped. 2 gallons of oil cant just vanish

Ok, so it's probably not your crankcase ventilation setup.... maybe your turbo does leak oil into the intake. Would be weird since the piping and all is clean, but I don't see many other options?

Update, pulled the turbo/manifold. Manifold was loose as hell, gasket torn, huge exhaust leak. Also cracked (pfab), sending to pang for repairs.

Turbo,
Exhaust side no shaft play,
Intake side, minimal shaft play. I can see oil on the bottom side of the compressor housing, although not huge amounts. There seems to be a light coating of oil on the inside of the compressor housing.

Should there be absolutely ZERO shaft play?
