I did measure the barings installed and torqued into the rod bores, the measurements I obtained are in the original post. The question arised from the measurements being about 0.001" larger from what they theoretically should be. From what you've mentioned this difference might be due to the residual stress from the bearing crush. Or simply, I got the wrong set of bearings or a bad set, who knows. They're on back order so it's going to be a while until a test a set of standard bearings.
