Default Help with KraftWerks Supercharger

So I got my kit installed and dyno tuned on a mustang dyno. The issues im facing are as follows

Low power? (the car only made 300WHP on a mustang dyno so even on a dyno Jet I wouldn't expect more than 340, this seems really low compared to everyone whos closer to the 400 mark. The car makes 14psi of boost at 7-8k RPM which seems very low still or laggy ...

Running out of fuel( the Gram 1000cc injectors that came with the kit are pretty much maxed out already and at a significantly lower power output, why is it that others are making 400whp with no issues but im out of fuel at low 3s?

slow boost? (as mentioned above the boost seems to come on super slow... iv seen other peoples dyno charts and it seems like they are creating boost significantly faster. while mine seems to be more gradual.

Some details needed. What year is the car? Are you running the C38-81 blower?

sorry I had an original post that had more detail but I redid it in a hurry

Im using the c38-91 Blower and yes the fuel pump is working properly(from what I can tell)

the Vehicle is an AP1 MY2000 70k miles on it
stock headers currently and a HKS hi power dual exhaust

I see 15-16 psi at 8300rpm, so 14 at 7000 doesn't seem wrong. I would be very helpful to see some data from the dyno session or just a 3rd gear street pull. I start making boost around 4-4.5k IIRC.

You shouldn't be running out of injector capacity though - I'm at about 60% duty on the grams 1000's with my c38-81 kit. Sounds like fuel pressure must be low - weak pump or the FPR isn't holding the pressure (not typical for this power level/pump though).

What power does a stock s2k make on that dyno? or some other good reference point?

What is your timing at 7k & 14psi?

Do you have the correct pulleys for the AP1? Also, can you read your fuel pressure? Sounds like a fueling issue. Did you do a compression test?

ill call the shop and see if they can email me the Dyno sheet so I can post it as well as the last log

s2000s consistently make about 170-180 whp on their mustang dyno

Is there a real good way to test the fuel pump?
ill hook up a fuel pressure gauge to see what its running this weekend

Im using the pullies that Kraftwerks told me to use over the phone and the shop verified by calling them

I cannot read fuel pressure but ill take it into the shop again and see if they can read what its putting down

and the motor was tested by the shop prior to them installing everything and it was all within spec
motor only has 70k miles and is very healthy

Based on those numbers a 400whp KW kit should show at least 340-350 on their Mustang, so it does indeed seem low.

As far as testing the pump, fuel pressure is going to be the place to start. Tap a gauge into the fuel rail, or maybe they have a special fitting they can use.

What ignition advance and injector duty at redline? Does the shop have experience tuning boosted S2000's?

What do you have for exhaust? Factory cat, HFC, test pipe? If factory cat I'd try a test pipe, might be that the cat isn't flowing well.

that's what I was thinking it should be too on their dyno
They have a fitting they can use to test the fuel pressure

Im not sure of the ignition advance and at redline it was 86% so we dropped it down to 8k Redline and scaled it back a little to allow the injectors to not be so stressed

the shop mostly deals with EVOs but they have had a few boosted s2000s go through there

its tuned on a Haltech Platinum Sport 1000

and the exhaust set up I currently have is Stock headers, Berk HFC and HKS Hi Power Dual exhaust

but the shop is suppose to email me the log and numbers from the last pull so when I get those ill post it for your review

you're running 93 octane gas, right? not e85?

also, are you in the USA?
