Help me choose a new kit!
Hey guys so ive finally decided on upgrading to a better kit for more power. I loved my greddy kit, no issues, very reliable and the power was fair, best of all no need to relocate anything. So im currently on the search but cant seem to decide. Im looking to make 400-500 whp on pump gas and most important is not required to relocate anything except for oil filter. a kit that maybe some heat wrapping can do. I started looking into stage 1 fullblown motorsports and inline pro but then i thought i should get away from a log and just get something different. was thinking of maybe even supercharging as i see there is less relocating things , but im more of a turbo fan. What you guys recommend? should be doing this upgrade in the next few months

You could get another bottom mount log mani with an external wastegate flange and just run a bigger turbo. You could reuse the rest of your kit probably, but I agree with abandoning the log altogether, I've always hated the idea of those manifolds on our cars.
While I was searching for turbo kits, no relocations was also a huge concern for me. I found the top kits for this were; Ptuning, Trackforged and SOS.
Ptuning: Gets expensive with options you will want (oil cooler, recirc dump tube) and you'll need an aftermarket radiator and slim fans for this kit. Also may need to trim your headlight brackets a bit to fit the charge pipes.
Trackforged: Much cheaper than Ptuning but a little laggier kit since it utilizes a sidewinder type manifold. This kit produces more heat and they recommend you tap the girdle for the oil return line, which many people are uncomfortable doing.
SOS: can't meet your power goals even with a giant turbo, but would have similar qualities as your Greddy kit (fast spool)

If you love your Greddy kit but want something better, the SOS kit is the logical evolution of that kit.
There are other great kits on the market (like PTuning, Full Race, PFab, etc.), but based on your statements above, it sounds like the SOS kit is what you're looking for.

I have an Inline Pro Stage 1, with larger intercooler, 3 inch down pipe and GT3076r turbo (on precision housings) , 675cc injectors and Walbro 255 pump, AEM V1 Engine Management. It makes 407HP at 19.5 pounds boost. About 385HP at 17.5Lbs. For what ever reason, the car is much more pleasing to drive with lower boost, but clearly more powerful with more.
I'll make no claims as to the "superiority" of the Inline Pro kit, other than this: It's been a troublefree setup from the very start. No cracked tubular manifolds, no glitches, no rubbing, no problems of any sort since the kit was installed in 2007.
I have considered (am considering) installing a custom fabricated tubular manifold (as I can make these myself) . However, it seems the Inline Pro log manifold is very smooth flowing and can be ported for even better results. It's runners are a bit longer and the shape is as proper as possible in the space provided. They did a very good job with this one. And, one more thing, my car can't use any more HP. It spins 'em wildly in 3rd. What more can I possibly use? Other than to break transmissions in half and grenade differentials!

thanks for the replys guys, ptunning is a bit to pricy for price range. looking for something in the $4500 range and not passing $5000. i already have ems and injectors. i might even consider buying a used kit , if its in used contion.
