Help with misfire
gap is too wide for a FI car, imo.
if the new plugs don't work, it's your tuning.
if the tuning isn't wrong, it's your coils. sometimes taking it out and re-clicking it might kill the problem, but .032 is big for anything boosting over 4psi.

I am hesistant to point the finger at the tuner, he is very well respected and has a buttload of experience. If it weren't so intermittent then I would be going that direction. I'll go check out the AFR when this happens and close the gap up a bit.......
"stay tuned" no pun intended

So do you think the heat is causing increased resistance and the coils are not able to fire over a .032 gap?
BTW I am only running 9.5 psi gauge but 6.5psi absolute due to the altitude here.
So your probably around 14+9.5 or 13.5+9.5 ABSOLUTE

or.... I didn't sleep enough

ok so here is the scoop
I drove it for about 40 miles pretty hard then parked it for 20.
AIT was at 160ish when I started it and it immediately started misfiring. The AFR went up into the 16's and 17's while it was doing this. I also pulled the plugs and regapped them to .028.

I thought I would give it a try. It can happen any time when the AIT's go up such as being put away wet after being driven hard then starting it back up a bit later.
In the example above, it starts like normal but revving it up or putting any load on the engine will cause it to dork up. If I let it cool down completely it will be good again until the above happens again.

I'd say have him check out the maps again, give him a ride to show him whats happening so he can tune it out.
