Default help needed with dbw tuning options

ive heard emanage and aem FIC arent the greatest tuning options for boost compared to a aem ems. aem doesnt have one for the dbw on their website and neither does hondata, do the exist? i thought i have read about them before but cant find a price. any knowledge on these products or suggestions are greatly appreciated. are there reliable, power making boosted dbw cars on this forumusing a emanage or FIC?

if your geting the emanage ultimate tuned by giles than yeah he can boost it up there. If your going with a FIC i would go get it tuned at inline pro only.

Hondata will be coming out with a EMS for the s2000 but who knows when and how much.

Aem EMS works with a dbw s2000, with the harness from autowave. But you lose your vsa and cels.

Another problem with boosting a 06+ dbw s2000 is the fuel system can onlyhold up to 350-380 whp.

you can use the Hks fcon, but not many tuners around for that unit.

so a harness will make the aem ems compatible? why will the dbw fuel system only hold around 400 hp? what is limiting the system? there is no way to mod it? new injectors, etc? how much can you get the aem ems syetem for?

I think the reasoning is because its a returnless fuel system but there's ways around this. Just look at RSX guys they have the same fuel system and are making plenty of power

I'm in the process of tuning my DBW turbo car as we speak using the K-Pro. Should see numbers over 400 pretty easily, and yes there are ways around the returnless fuel system. It's a Walbro 255 and 1000cc injectors. Justin (2QYK4U) was making over 450 whp with this combo, so I'm looking for similar numbers.

he was also using a custom fuel rail and other modifications.

you can either do what justin did or you can get the secondary injection system that Scott at ballistic motorsports sells.

you will have to convert it to a return type fuel system, you want this because as the manifold pressure increasses you want the fuel pressure to increase, and with a return type the fpr restricts the return line allowing the fuel pressure to increase, i have done a few rsx's convert to return style for FI and ITB's. to do this on a s2000 should not be that bad - i would probably start with a 2000-2005 fuel pump housing and go from there- why reinvent the wheel when there is something that already works,

using a fuel pump and huge injectors will let me keep the returnless fuel system? im gonna keep the engine stock so im not looking for much over 400hp
