Default high flo cat or test pipe?

im going to be going FI soon but im stuck on getting a test pipe or a HFC??? i have read that the burks HFC gives you 89% HP inc compared to the TP they offer and it works out that your loosing like 1.5HP. the reason im thinking of the HFC is i dont want to go through the emmision hasle of switching cat back on then going for emmission then putting TP back on etc... but i do want the HP gains now if i gain 2-3HP less than test pipe if i get the HFC then i wanna get HFC if there is a lot of HP loss then ill go with test pipe what do you guys think anyone have a burks HFC installed?? or does everyone just run TP's?

thanks

My experience was less than 100 miles on a high flow cat and it was toast. Just get a test pipe and save the money.

I've seen threads / posts from other folks saying that FI kills a HFC. But... I've had a Berk HFC on my car for a few years (and two FI setups) with no issues. Maybe I don't drive mine enough to harm it?

If you're worried about emissions just use an extender when you need to.
