Hey guys im looking for a Highflow cat. I just moved to a area that has stupid emissions testing so Im having the OEM cat put back on but would love to have the power, I want a 3 inch. Brands and quality Who should I look at and are they of good quality Also if there are any good Titanium ones out there that would be awesome as well.

 

Save your money and get a test pipe. The cats go out and are of no use. Save your cat for smog checks.

 

LOL yea thats what I figured I just dont want to change it every year uhhhhhhhhh. Oh well any good 3 inch test pipes? i will be selling my full spoon n1 exhaust and testpipe here soon if anyone wants it

 

I would have to argue that. Since Im running EMS I had berk custom make me a cat that moved the cat back as far as they could since the second o2 isn't there. This seemed to help the temps it under goes. On top of that on the dyno I swapped the cat for the test pipe and see how it did and there was not change at all, same power as the test pipe. It still smokes at high rpms but the cat did enough to eat the gas smell. But, if you pushing 500hp then I doubt it will hold it. Just saying, mine seems to be great.

Cant you just install a defouler on the test pipe so theirs no CEL?
