hello guys i am running comptech sc with AC, i also have the old version hks bov on it, but it is so hard to hear it. my question is if i get the newest version hks bov, whould that help. Also i had the godzilla bov before, it is very loudbut i dont like the sound of it, is there any other choice that has similar sound to the hks but a lot louder?? how about biltz one?? thanks a lot.

I had the HKS SSQV years ago on a turbo'd Integra and there was no mistaking that BOV sound.

Maybe yours need adjusted for the level of boost your are pushing? It could be set for a higher boost level and therefor not actually blowing off.

Just a thought...

 

you're not going to hear a bov on a SC setup unless you are running at least 9psi.

 

i have an HKS SSQV on my SC set up and it sounds nice under 6k and really nice past that... then again, im at 12psi..
