I have not found very many threads that had technical info as to why the F-CON systems do or do not work.

I have been researching going this rout since the Greddy E-manage Ultimate did not fully work.

The main problem I found with the F-CON is finding a tuner that has the appropriate software to program the unit.

However the F-con SZ unit appears to be user programmable with the navigator.

IIRC, you to go though a HKS certifed Fcon dealer/tuner to get it tuned.

I've not heard anything about the SZ unit

 

I will give Evasive (site sponsor) a call tomorrow to see if they know what the SZ is all about since the ULT is going back to them anyways.

I think it is crazy that HKS does not list any tuners in GA or in FL especially since the tuning thing is such a big thing in the Alt and Orlando/ Miami areas.

The Greddy was only a PITA because it does not work with the S.
the tuning program was relative easy to use. That was the only thing I can say positive about the Greddy the software was user friendly. (even if some of the English was lost in translation)

 

This processor speed thing is a bit of a joke. If the processor is fast enough being twice as past won't make any difference.

What sort of issues did the E-manage Ultimate put up?
