S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Hmmm... Some turbo help please.

Default Hmmm... Some turbo help please.

I´m looking for a nice turbo with v-band turbine housing and decided to go Turbonetics and their new 69mm Billet compressor wheel.
The problem is that I already had the biggest v-band turbine housing (65mm), they only offer T3 or T4 flange if I want to go 68mm or something around that.
Called Precision and they also had 65mm as top of the line when it comes to v-band.

Sooooo, any other options? Any BW turbo using v-band inlet? Tial have housings for Garrett but my tuner say they suck compared to other brand v-band or T3/T4 housings. Hmmm...

Want to keep this manifold and flange for many reasons.

What is your power goal?

Borg Warner does not offer V band inlet housings, but Bullseye does have a few options. Tial V band housings are better than any others I have seen, both in quality and design. Also note that not all V band housings are identical. As far as I know, the Precision and Tial housing inlets are not identical and may not be interchangeable.

u could have a shop (or yourself if u weld) weld together a t4 to v band adapter and run any t4 turbo u want

There is some site that sells all those adapters already made, I think they are ~$ 60

ScorpionT: Hmm... The right side of 800 would be nice, something close to 70mm in. Will check Bullseye, thanks!

I´ve seen the adapters but will probably weld rather then use one, just one more leaking spot.

Regarding the Tial housings they look great and nice that they come in SS but my tuner tried a bunch on the WRC engines and I have to trust them.
Car styling according to them after a day in the Superflow.

What will you be using the car for? I can narrow down the recommendations. Off the top of my head, the S400SX 67mm would be my first choice. Next would be an S471 or GTX4294R.

If the housing sizes were improperly matched, that would account for poor results. The housings flow very similar to the Garrett equivalent and spool will be similar as well.

Weekend fun, street and drag. The 66mm I had now were perfect and according to Turbonetics I can go bigger and keep the same spool if I buy BB and Billet as I want to. That´s why I planned to go 6968.

Will take a look at the turbo´s you recommended, like the BW´s, good stuff. Thanks!

Also, want to use a compact turbo if possible, top mount manifold and pretty tight.

Well, if you are using it on the street the S400SX 67mm might be a bit of overkill, and it uses the "race" cover, which may not fit your setup.

If Turbonetics does not offer a V band housing for the 68mm turbo, you might need to change the direction you take your build. Either using a custom manifold to make a larger compressor work, or going with a standard T4 housing.

Yeah, I´ll cut off the v-band flange on the manifold and weld on a T4. Probably better than welding a v-band flange to a T4 turbo.

I can keep the manifold if I stay away from huge turbos and they get smaller every year.

Before you do that, decide on a turbo first. If its something with a divided turbine housing you will want a new manifold so the pulses are split properly. Otherwise, if its an undivided housing it wont really matter.
