Default Hooking up AEM 3.5 Bar MAP Sensor

I searched on how to install this map sensor and read that you must leave the stock sensor alone just hook this one to a vaccum line and splice the wires on the stock sensor. Just wanted to double check if this is true and if anyone knows which wire goes to which. thanks.

Cut off the stock plug

solder in the new clip

electrical tape

done

I forget which wires go where though...it's not hard to figure out just by looking at the colors. Black is ground, yellow or even red (usually yellow) is 12v+ and the weirdo color will be signal.

Yep. You can take it from where the EVAP connects since the hose is big enough and you can find a Tee fitting easier.

If you make a block off plate, you can take out the original map sensor (leave the o-ring). Or you can just leave the map sensor there like I did if you're lazy.

I put mine right under the Fuel rail on a bracket that was made for me by my Tech Joshua at Fournier Automotive in Orlando - If you need a close up of the wiring let me know and I can snap a pic tomorrow for you!

Man thats a lot of stuf in that picture. If you could just take a pic of which wire goes to red, white, black, that would be GREAT!!!

Don't forget to change the sensor in the AEM.

Setup>Sensors>Manifold Pressure Sensor>MAP Sensor Wizard; then choose your sensor from the table.

About that, I know that the graph will change and display up to 30lbs. Do I copy my current graph over that and set it all up to lets say 14psi or keep it up to 30 but just copy my graph into it.
