Default Horrid Rattling?

Need some input from you guys.

Just had my clutch done and the car came back with some major rattling. Thought it was the DP on the manifold...nope, heat sheild isnt touching anything.

Any advice?

It doesnt happen at higher speeds or rpms. worst is in 1st or 2nd at about 3000 - 4000rpm and also on decel.

Thanks guys.

Would help to know what clutch it is. If it is a 4 or 6 puck clutch it sounds maybe like the old clutch buzz. Mine would do it on decel mostly with the cc stage 4 clutch. Went to a disc clutch setup and now its gone.

Its a ACT HD PP with Street disk and AP1 flywheel. Its not the clutch, this we know.

Anyone have some input? It really sounds like the heat sheild is rattling, but its def. not the heat sheild. ???

Can someone rev the car for you to 3000-4000 RPMs while you stand over the engine bay?

I can do that myself. Just need to pull on the throttle cable. lol

Ive read something about valve train damage. Is this possible?

Anyone have any ideas?

did you check any of the underbracing/brackets under the car? when i got my clutch done there was a bracket that the mechanics didn't tighten down all the way causing rattling on mine.

Sounds like the clutch to me, I had no idea about this and after chasing the rattle for a while I finally found the solution by checking posts on it.

I would be very surprised if it was anything but the clutch.

Also if you want to check the valve train start by pulling the cover and checking/setting the valve lash.

Yeah my clutch does the same thing at 2-4K RPM, but I know it's just crappy clutch buzz. Annoying as hell isn't it.
