S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

how difficult is it to "port the wastegate"?

....... You can even buy larger 304SS flappers online if needed. ....
I plan on doing the WG porting at my friend's shop. He has a mill and a die grinder. I split the turbo apart, removed the trubine housing which is easy to do by loosening the clamp.
I was looking at the WG opening and there is a good 1 - 2mm that can be milled/ground off and still have 2-3mm of flapper overlap for sealing.
However it would be better to get a larger flapper.

One other issue that may result from porting is that there will be a larger area for the exhaust gases to apply apply pressure on the WG flapper. If the WG actuator is too weak, then the flapper may open prematurely (premature flapping - sounds like a medical impotence condition lol ) If that is the case, then a stiffer spring actuator would be needed or use the ghetto fix "helper spring". I'm hoping the WG actuator is strong enough.

Where exactly did you see the SS304 flappers online? I googled for flappers a couple of days ago and had no luck finding any.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone who ports these turbos is able to avoid the boost creep issue. I'm still a good month or so away from porting / installing / and tuning. Too damn busy working on the Subaru GT35R setup, the S KW suspension, alarm, stereo..... grrr....

Cool! thanks
I'll measure the Greddy housing to see if the 34mm flapper will fit
I looked in ATPturbo's site before when I was looking for these but didn't find any. Good find!
