Its hard to tell but it looks correct. Can you see down through the spark plug holes that pistons 1 and 4 are at TDC? If they aren't, you could be 180 deg out.

Even with the timing marks like tha ti could be 180 degrees out?

So what should i do? take the spark plugs out. turn it to TDC on cyl#1. And look in? What am I looking for?

And would that stop spark from happening?

I'm not too sure if it will stop spark but spark timing will definitely be off.

As you have it in that picture, look down through the spark plug holes on pistons 1 and 4 to make sure they are at the top of the stroke. Its too hard to tell in the pic if your marks are all lined up and if pistons 1 and 4 are at the top.

to the op

that looks correct, so long as cylinder one is at TDC.

the marks on the idler gear are offset so if they line up w/the top of the head and cylinder 1 is at tdc you cant be 180 out.

and you cant really be 180 out on a 180deg 4 cylinder either way, as long as cylinder 1 is at tdc and the marks on the cam gears line up you're good.

I spent a good 2 days trying to figure out why my race car wouldn't start after pulling and replacing the head. and thats what it was.
