I am trying to rotate two wrenches in oposite directions but I can't get the cam cap loose.

Trying to swap in a woodruff key.

I was thinking of wrapping it in a towel and putting it in a vise and then rotating the wrenches but don't know if that can warp the cam.

Any tricks?

 

Put your open ended wrench in a vise, place the cam in the open ended wrench to hold it and take a wrench to the cap.

 

I will give it a try. Good lord that thing is on there tight.
