Default how many miles

basically im just wondering how far you can drive with a comptech s/c with smaller pulley before you have to rebuild it and how far can you go on an inline pro or greddy turbo before replacing parts?

Ive had my vortech on since january. 12k miles 5 track days

No issues except one day at buttonwillow it was 110 out and temp gauge started creeping other than that no problems.

I'm thinking of switching to a turbo set up but everyone says don't do it.

I bought my CT kit used with an estimated 10,000 miles on it. I have since put an additional 25,000 or more. Blower works perfect.

How much boost/power are you making? Not sure why but some guys will put on a base kit or up the psi to moderate levels and then give up and switch to Turbo for what ever reason, rather then maximize the blower first since the investment has already been made, and if still not enough then make the switch. But considering you can make an easy 400whp/260trq before getting into the head porting I'm not sure what else you need at the track. The reliability and power delivery of a Centrifugal is really ideal for a tracked s2000.
