How Much boost are you running on 11:1 CR and pump gas?

Default How Much boost are you running on 11:1 CR and pump gas?

So ive got an sos stage 2 kit with novi 1200 and aem ems v2 on my f22 running a 3.6 inch pulley making 13.6psi. while at the tuner the computer pulled timing at 7500rpm because it started to knock on 91 octane fuel. so me and my tuner decided to retune it for 94 octane. everything seems to be good and it make power right to the redline, but my question is how much boost are you running on your stock motor and on what octane? oh the car is running 2 degrees of timing which from what i know is fairly conservative(sorry im a bit of a noob at this stuff). i know higher octane fuel prevents knock but i get confused when i see guys posting numbers like 400whp and 250wtq on stock motors and pump gas. maybe my tuner just sucks.........im in victoria canada so we dont have a jeff evans

Im on 15psi..pump gas with water meth. About 400hp.

with my mase turbo kit i'm at 11psi on 91 octane. my tunner said this was the safest limit for 91 octane.

i'm at 17psi with e85. which maxed out my turbo/injectors/fuel pump

It's crazy how much compression ratio plays a difference. The WRX/STI guys run 20-21psi all day long on 93 pump and some of the Evo guys go as high as 24psi.

We dont need that amount of PSI to get healthy power.
