S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

How much $$$ does it take to get 400RWHP?

Install: 700 - 900

Gaugues: if you get te nice one's ( defi ) $240 each + controller unit.
AEm fuel regulator pump: $170

Maybe a 3" exhuast ?

Raven628: he is righ more like 10K +

Note: have a least $700 extra because alot of little crap will come up...
Your right it can be a lot more.

Good news is, if you do it all in one shop they will give discounts. I don't think anyone has every paid top asking price for each part if it is all done at once.

When I did the inline kit in their shop at the end of 04 it was a little over 9k.
I did not get the EMS at that time becuase it was not availabe, tested yet.

So I ran on a VFACII at that time. I have since installed the EMS.

No.......But if you're using used or junk parts it will cost you in the end with major problems. If you're fabbing it up yourself, it's not proven and you never know how it will turn out and you may have to start all over.

Good luck!

New 'crap' parts included

I have all name brand stuff, and my setup is 7K including install/tune. It should make 450hp.

You have to be patient - I bought the entire turbo kit for 3500 including EMS, injectors, and 3" exhaust.

ya, thats the best answer really is be PATIENT. Best yet buy an already turbocharged car long as you know its been run right.

If you got the time to shop around and you do it all smart you can make 400hp really cheap!

Consider though a possible upgrade once u've made the 400 mark....if theres gonna be one then you'll put the kit together with parts that can handle the juice

For example get larger injectors then u if you might expand.

I wouldn't have to tear apart the motor and put better pistons, rods, ect.?

I mean it has 78000 miles on it!

Can it really handle that much power?

Doesn't the tranny need upgrades as well as the rear end? What about the drive shafft?

What kinda 1/4 mile times will 400rwhp get me?
you could still run a 14 second with 400 horsepower if you really suck. It depends on how good YOU as a driver are. Ideally, 12 seconds somewhere. The more extreme cases could probably pull off 11 seconds.

He asked about 1/4 mile times and nobody factored in a rear-end swap/upgrade?
