I noticed there are used turbo kits and superchargers for sale on the forums...but is this a good idea? Does a turbo last 10K, 20K, 50K without needing maintenance? What maintenance is needed and how much does this usually cost? What other parts are wear parts that need to be replaced?

 

A turbo can withstand alot many factors determine the life of the turbo. i.e oil pressure, amount of boost, how the person drives, heat, length of the car not started up(months), and initial prime with first use.
