Exclamation How much power from a test pipe?

Finally gave in, bought a T1R test pipe ot match the sparrow, should be here sat. Has the o2 defoulers on it to.

Hopefully I get a nice jump in power since I'm FI and have all other bolts on also.

Basically I dynoed 276 with ricks header and sparrow dual, will the test pipe help me increase it some more?

With your FI application, I would imagine at least 10 RWHP with the test pipe.

The BRP boys picked up more than that with their tester car. They were also tuning with a really nice fuel management system though. (ELF)

Tuning with a FPR sucks.

Whats your A/F look like now on your last dyno? I picked up 10-15 mid range with the test pipe.

You can still estimate to a safe range. I only ask becuase the TP will lean you out. A lot of the s/c kits run lean out of the box to make more power.

You will either gain a few or loose a few. It varies with how much boost you are seeing. Tell us what you see when you get it dynoed.

I did several changes at the same time including Toda header and testpipe and didn't see much because it uncorked the exhaust and dropped the boost.

That said, the best results come from a smaller pulley, AEM EMS, larger injectors, larger throttle body and headwork.

You could easily see 150 to 250+ hp from those. There is no turning back now sucka.

Love that go fast crack pipe.

it will lower HP?whatttttttttttttt

the only reaosn Im getting this is because I want to gain and I hear my stock cat is restrictive. I'm running 5.5 PSI...........if I'm going to lose HP then.......Are you saying that when you installed your stuff you didn't see your normal boost? For exmaple after my installl I should still see 5.5 correct? but theres a chance it could go lower? I have a boost gauge so easy to check.

I doubt the boost will drop much and you will probably gain a little HP but only doing the swap out and a follow up dyno will tell us for sure. Let us know.
