How much you guys spent on tuning
go to the right guy the first time, that'll save you some money right there.
Mase is pretty reasonable with pricing when it's something like a dyno day. fly him in just for one car and yeah it'll cost you

I'm running the AEM EMS.
$0 for the tune (self tuned)
The dyno time for a half day on a load bearing dyno and then follow up runs on a dynojet was probably $300
Total tuning time was probably a few days (starting when I was NA with the EMS and then through my various turbo setups), but the best part was the half day on the dyno. The dyno time really honed in some of the boost control, timing, and fueling. The other tuning time just helped set things like cold start, easy fueling and ignition, and trial runs of various boost comp methods for drivability. I currently use boost comp everywhere (including low load and part throttle) without a throttle mod. This seemed to provide the best drivability, easier tuning, and more control/granularity over fueling.
Keep in mind, I started working on carb tuning 15 years ago and then moved into basic EFI tuning 10 years ago. In college, I installed and dyno tuned a standalone fuel injection system (TEC3) onto a formerly carbureted snowmobile engine. After college, I took EFI 101 and EFI advanced, tuned both of my personal turbo setups, and tuned a few friends' cars.

all my tunes were with the greddy ultimate. My tune on the 31st is for the Aem ems. My first tuned also included the install of the ultimate and Injecters. The second tune included the install of the greddy pressure sensor.
