What`s your best et on the stock tranny?

What did you end up braking inside?


PPG dogs boxes are discontinued now, they only offer their Synchro version.. It will be very nice to dial in a Syncrho box that shifts at 9K and make some 9 sec passes under stock transmission case, that will help with clutch and to keep noise and vibrations really down..

We need to see this dog box opened and diagnosed

I see you are moving on, sorry to see that. So what happened to the tranny?

 

Getting fixed (shifter forks) selling it for $4, 500

 

Did you brake just one shifter fork?

 

So what are your plans (I see the hardtop for sale). Gonna ditch the s2k for a car that's fast without FI?

 

Not anytime soon . I'm going to pull the trigger and buy my dream airplane for the summer a 1940s yellow Piper cub. Im going to stick with the X5 as a daily and in a few years hopefully park another fast car in the garage.
