Default I finally ordered my comptech s/c...

Thanks to everyone's help...I decided to go with the comptech supercharger.

I also ordered:

Defi BF boost gauge
Defi Control Unit II
PLX wideband a/f
RC550 injectors
Denso Iridium Ik24 plugs

I really wanted to upgrade the clutch to Act pressure plate, Oem disc, comptech flywheel...but comptech flywheel is on back order...

How much of a performance am I giving up with oem flywheel vs. comptech?

And any other parts you guys recommend?

you will need to increase boost since you got bigger injectors

I was advised by another member to get the injectors; otherwise, my car won't run right. Regardless...more boost wouldn't hurt...heheh. I will most likely go 7lbs.

You don't really "need" any of those things. Some of them are "nice to have" things. If you get bigger injectors, I'm not so sure the stock ECU and Comptech ESM is enough to run them and tune them.

I was told by someone with a 04 with comptech sc at stock boost (now 7lbs) that I need bigger injectors...I'm confused now?

I somehow doubt the validity of this information. I can't see Comptech selling a kit meant for an '04 that is deficient in this way. You should get input from more sources. Generally speaking, their kits are designed to be bolt on with perhaps some minor tweaking (though not usually necessary).

Here's the entire parts list you need with a Comptech Supercharger Kit:

Comptech Supercharger Kit

You don't NEED anything else and you certainly don't need larger injectors unless you have some way to control them.

Ryan:

I'm running 7 lbs. boost / no aftercooler, on the stock injectors. You only need the injectors if you are going with higher boost. I would say just get the Comptech kit installed and see how it feels before you go fiddling around with the pulleys/injectors. Also a bigger pulley will void your Comptech warrenty if you bought the kit new.
