I need help choosing FI...
ok, heres the introduction about my situation...........you can skip this paragraph if your not interested in my reason why i want to FI the shit out of my S...
heres the deal, two of my friends, who own a Z and an RX8 and i always run against each other on the highway and track, given, i was always the better driver of the three, and I always had pride about how quick my S was in the corners and can still hang around with my friend's Z in the straightaways....I havent done much work in terms of power tuning, but i have some suspension mods that allows me to go even faster in cornering.....i had always won all the races that we put out with, at least until my friend dropped a greedy TT on his Z, and there was no way that i can catch him regardless of how hard i try...
heres the situation, i would like to go FI to squeeze out as much power as i can from my S, which kit out there is good to give good engine response and yield CONSIDERABLY BIG POWER? i understand that the engine internals should be upgraded, which is perfectly fine, any suggestions?

Anyway, at 8psi you can keep the engine stock, a proper kit (read as LoveFab) will cost you 10grand after all is said and done including install, exhaust, tuning, gauges and all the small bits and pieces it takes to have it done nicely.
350 to the wheels in your S and you can play again with your homies.
Next time skip that part of how you want to race your friends and you will get more to read.
all of the base level supercharger and turbocharger kits out there will be fine with the stock engine internals and compression... so your going to be at a minimum of just over 300 whp with a proper exhaust... or more... depending on setup/tune...
a turbo, if tuned right... should be more competitive on the street than a s/c... due to its power curve... but a turbo will need more tuning and can cause more problems than a s/c...

You don't seem to understand much, nor did you perform any research/reading prior to asking this.

With that said, now back to the topic. Every story I have heard of the Twin Turbo 350Z has been wild, from what I've understood that kit turns the 350Z into a beast. If you are looking to come close or even beat that car straight line you are probably going to need to look into a turbo kit, I seriously do not believe a Supercharger will get the job done.
Now, in your post you also commented on being able to beat them in the corners. If you are on a very tight course / back roads - honestly with the right skills you should be able to beat either one of them in stock form. On a more open course, you may prefer a Supercharger over a Turbo, unless the turbo kit you look at has a very quick spooling turbo.
Hope this helps

Apparently neither do you, since you still can not comprehend the fact that the S2Ki Search Function is NOT WORKING. Sorry for having to start my post with this and getting off topic, but Jakup just about every single post that I have come across that you have made is border-line rude. Next time skip over the first paragraph, skip over the last paragraph and feel free to comment the second - since that is the only one that has a purpose.

and sorry to Jakup, didnt mention that i couldnt do searches on the forum at the moment for some reason that everybody else is also experiencing..
anyhow, i did manage to keep clicking onto pages in the FI section and found 2 turbo kits, the full-race and the lovefab...since my friend has an RSX and he has done the full-race before, i know that company costs fairly expensive but does sell decent products, i never heard of lovefab, do yiou guys have any turbo suggestions?
btw, the track we race on usually consists of a huge ass straightaway in the middle of the lap, so the gap spreads crazily ...

Search worked very well on the day he posted
or a few days before that.If I say very well, believe me it worked cause search sucks for me the whole time.
If stating a fact that he did not research this thing at all before asking is considered rude in your family, you must be realy a walking rolemodel for all of us
