This is great advice. Coming from someone who had pieced together a kit such as myself, I wish I would have bought a complete kit. Save yourself the hassle and probably money by getting it all st once. Also any particular reason you want a turbo? If I was to do it over again I would have gone with a SC setup.

since I first got into cars I've dreamed of turbo charging a car. I really like the top end power

there is no other feeling of when boost kicks in and you hear your BOV go off between gears...

Blake. If u do auto x turbo will not help at all. U need low end powa for auto x. Liner boost to be efficient. But if lightly auto x and track then yes I suggest u go with an off the shelf kit. Sheepy, kings and others. Btw u want to be carb legal?

u know all the SC go stutututututututu too when u shift gears. U can put any turbo bov on a sc.

Not worried about carb legal. But I only do auto cross a few times a year so I'm not worried about much of gains there. Just a day of fun with friends, never worried about times

Go with an off the shelf kit and save u all the hassle. 350 whp is easily gained as well.

Ptuning for sure, for someone that wants to track you can't really beat it. I pieced together my own kit and its not to much of a hassle it just takes time and patience.

Garret gtx3576 or precision 6262? I might get ptuning intercooler kit. Borgwarner twin scroll, pfab twin scroll, or sheepey inc twinscroll?
