Default Iconnel wrap..how thick?

So after talking to local shop that welded my vband to my exhaust housing he recommended going with iconnel wrap and just be done with it. Never have any issues of heat. The turbo is sitting in a location that makes the wiring very vulnerable so I'm thinking of just saying f it and get it wrapped like I originally planned.

I just need to know how thick is it to shave off enough of the housing to make it not rub.

I can't. Iconnel wrap is made to fit the turbo. It fits tighter than a turbo blanket so I need to know how thick it is in order to see if it will clear. The turbo blanket I bought is too thick and swaintech alone wont be enough.

How much clearance do you have? Might just be easier to shield the wires/solenoid. I used heat tape on the vtec solenoid/ancillary wiring without issue

The ATP Iconnel wrap is a lot thinner compare to the turbo blanket. I could not fit the turbo blanket with the full-race manifold but the Iconnel wrap fit just fine. pretty pricey though but well worth it

You won't be disappointed. They also make an awesome heat shield for the manifold, fuse box, and battery

The inconnel wrap seems to hug the turbo better than a blanket:
