id1000s to id2000s?
I dont get how the 2000s are double the price of the 1000s, i could see another 100 or 200 dollars but to double the price doesn't seem right, can someone tell me why the price doubles? i bet someones gonna say double the flow, double the price
That is a good question because the ID 1600's are no cheaper than the 2000's also. They are the best and they know people will pay it so I am in the same E85 boat as you are. Gonna have to grin and bear it.
Sorry guys, while it looks like the injectors are priced based on flow, that's not the case at all.
The injectors are all priced based on manufacuring and parts costs. The core injector for the ID1600 and ID2000's are considerably more than the ID1000's and smaller. It's a very different injector design.
The only reason the ID1600's are cheaper than the 2000's is because they don't include the anodized adaptor tops or electrical connectors.

bc super chargers cost 37k dude, everyone knows that, lol but there a ass load of carbon fiber on that thing, my step dad has one, its insane, I wanna make my s faster than his vette
Still gathering parts. Have the aeromotive pump and will be ordering the 1600's injectors from Tony here shortly. Shooting for 550whp max. Your 600whp may require the fuel blown setupif you want enough fuel. Looking forward to hearing about your E85 upgrade

thanks, yea it looks like I am gonna go with the full blown fuel set up, I need a lotta cash still, being realistic I prob wont be on e85 until a year from now, so hopefully next summer I can break 650-700, until then I'm just gonna enjoy my car the way it is
Probably a good idea because E85 is not cheap to do right. I am finding that out as we speak. You could always get an E85 tune on your current setup and get a few extra ponies for the summer. You could run a boost a pump with the 1000's and get 450whp+ on the 1000's just on base fuel pressure. Car will run cooler for sure.
Why don't you just order the Bosch injectors? The ID's are rebranded Bosch injectors if i'm informed correctly.
We checked it out too, needed 1600's and looked up the part numbers. Bosch numbers are exactly the same but half the price if not more.
