Default INFO FOR THE OLD C30 KRAFTWERKS KIT

I've searched around and cannot find much about the older generation of the kraftwerks kit. Any info would help me and any other owners.

Parts such as part number, compatible replacement parts (pulleys, belts, tensioners, coolers etc)

Info So Far Collected:
Tensioner

OLD INSTALL W/O Pics
Install w/ Pics

Discontinued Replacement Parts

Idler Pulley

Part #: (according to research)
Drive Belts - Bando 6PK2095
Tensioner - Gates 38382 (requires modification to pulley?)
Bearing - FAG 6301-2RSR-C3
Oil Cooler Rebuild Kit - Laminova Heat Exchanger Re-Seal Kit MOC-UA00005
Idler Pulley: Gates 38006
Idler Bearing:# 6203 (Measurements : 17mm x 40mm x 12mm ; Same as stock tensioner / idler)
please chime in if you have any info related.

I recently purchased a CR w/ the KW kit and alittle afraid of any future hassle. I've read that KW has discontinued any type of help related to issues with the old kit.

owners manual would also help.

That kit was originally designed by Oscar Jackson when I worked for Group S Autowerks. Jackson Racing are still building superchargers so he maybe some help to you with that older kit and even parts.

If you're worried about longevity issues and future hassles I would just upgrade the parts from the new kit. Kraftwerks just posted a thread where you can upgrade parts from the old kit.

Here's the thread https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/111...t-new-and-old/

idler pulley and bearing sourced out... unfortunantly, i've heard rumors that Kraftwerks no longer support the older generation kits, so it seems as though the c30 owners are out of luck. Recently i've been working on a replacement idler bearing, and after research and research.. i finally found the correct part numbers and replacement.

I just had a belt tensioner fail for the old kit also. I spoke with CJ at skunk2 and there are a few parts <10 left. so i ordered a replacement tensioner and pulley. i'm curious to know what parts you sourced for these, since we'll eventually need these parts after they are no longer supported.

Isn't it just a generic tensioner you can buy off Amazon? I think maybe the pulley has been reversed or something.

From what I’ve seen, the Gates 38382 would work. This would require machine work on the bracket, which I would like to avoid if I’m able to. If I can’t find another tensioner, I’ll probably end up going with the 38382.
