Injector-size AEM 1052U:
Hi!
One question, can I mount bigger injectors and insert size in AEM 1052?
Would be great to start up the engine with the right injectors.
I got 720cc injectors and custom fuel system.
Anyone tried this?
The car is a -01 with Vortech Supercharger and smaller pulley, about 4".
3mm Cometic headgasket and around 1 bar (14 psi) boost.

The aem 1052 is the engine management system and will work with many different size injectors - you need to make sure your injectors will fit the stock fuel rail unless you are planning on getting a different rail - Your tuner should be able to answer these questions!

it will work just fine but you will need to select your injector and recalibrate your fuel map.
btw what brand is the "Bosch sized injector"? you may need to check with aem whether there is a battery offset table for these injectors. If there isn't one, you may need to send it to aem for calibration.

Usually you can put a resistor in the injector-cable, not in AEM?

My V1.11 AEM Pro software only has 750 MSD injector 3 ohm. You better check with aem whether this is compatible with your 720 injector
You better search on the www.aempower.com forum for more information. Alternatively you should call aem for more detail.
You will need a resistor box otherwise you will blow a relay on the ems. Yes you wire the resistor box in series with the injectors. I used a honda resistor box off a honda civic

I thought I could use any size in AEM, like other EMS. Autronic, DTA, Motec, etc...
Posted on the AEM forum, totally dead.
The resistorbox is a good idea, we also got resistors to weld in serie with the injector in different ohm
