Inline kit with eManage?
Is anybody running an Inline kit with eManage Ultimate?
When I finally get the funds to buy a turbo kit I had been planning on getting the Greddy kit because:
1. I want "bolt-on" performance (no head gasket) with pump gas.
2. I have to have the stock computer to pass smog. (No AEM)
But an Inline kit with small turbo and eManage would also do what I want, so anybody go that route?

Unless you know someone, the turbo kit will not pass emissions despite the computer being able to pass.
Aside from that, yes I used to run an emanage with the IP kit. However, the AEM EMS is 10 times better in all respects.
So yes you can run an emanage, but remember it won't feel stock (unlike the aem)

If I "knew someone" I would use an AEM.
I'm well aware that AEM is better. But since I can't use it there is no point in worrying about it.
IP with emanage ultimate could easily pass obd2 inspection. They don't even pop the hood, all they do is plug into the OBD2 port. At least here in NC that's how they do it.
and about EMU not feeling stock where as the AEM would? are you crazy? You're piggybacking off the stock ecu, so at startup, idle, and no boost it should feel pretty much just like stock if tuned appropriately. With the AEM there is infinitely more potential to not have the car tuned properly and have trouble with startup, idle, tip in, etc.
I've got an emanage ultimate and thats what is going to control my FI setup once I figure out exactly what I'm doing. AEM EMS is just not an option since my car must pass OBD2 inspection.
