Default InLine Pro/Jeff Evans are the best!

I first began bugging the shit out of Ya everyday in 2007 when I blew the stock motor up in my dads s2000 at MoSport due to a set of poorly timed "Money Shifts".
I knew I was replacing the motor, but with his consent I wanted to do more.
He always said he loved the looks/engineering/chassis/handling of the S, but the power(mainly the Torque) left somewhat to be desired.
I thought this was going to be my "in" with getting the keys handed over to me fulltime. I wanted to make something that was WAY out of his comfort zone, so that he would say it is too much for him and give it to me at an extremely reasonable price.
Ya suggested their best kit(at the time) to go along with a core motor they had from a 2.5 N/A build-swap and using Hondata to control it all(needed to be inspectable/etc). I ran the car on a stock 2.0 with a 3mm H/G for 15K miles At 440whp on 14psi. The car was great, the tune by Jeff Evans was better than stock and it blew the doors off of most anything out there.

This was my first N/A-Turbo build and it was a learning experience. I installed/built everything myself in my sparetime and it showed. No valve-cover breather/air-oil separator, cam pickup installed backwards---thanks again Jeff for being so patient with me). it was fast but it wasn't "complete."

My parents had moved down to HottLanta and took the car with them. While there the a/c Compressor needed replaced and the condenser did too. They had a local shop do it. The shop did not bleed the car properly and it overheated/burned a hole in the H/G.

I decided I wanted to run a stock H/G and still run a reliable turbo setup. I knew tearing down the motor was going to be expensive. In walks Tom at InLine Pro. He became(since Ya moved up in the ranks) the poor bastard that I got to bug the shit out of for the next few months. We decided it was best if I brought them my longblock, they installed their F24C kit(ACL bearings, billet crank/rods and CP pistons I believe).

I got them my longblock in the middle of September and they had it back to me in the middle of October. I could not have been happier with the service I received on having the Longblock built/assembled. It came back looking/performing brand new.
It started on the first crank and had ZERO leaks/issues. HUGE THANKS to Tom, Jeremy Allen and of course Ya! at InlinePro for being such a stand up and awesome company!

Getting the tune done really had me worried. Never before had I spent the kind of money I did to have someone else build something for me only to hope it doesnt explode in front of my eyes on the Dyno.
Jeff Evans tuned the car the first time around and as I stated previously, the car performed flawlessly. I knew he would be doing it again. After pushing back a tuning date due to me not having the car prepared, he took hold of it during an EXTREMELY busy week for him of getting his Outlaw car done and himself being sick as a dog. November 4th was rainy, cold and dreary. The results of the tune were anything but!
With a little fuel/timing adjustment, basically the same tune though, he got the car to perform better than my wildest dreams! I could NOT be happier with the service and friendships I have received from Jeff Evans/his staff and the staff of InLine Pro.

Together, they both made a stressful time of my life(I was getting all of this accomplished while working on the vehicle on the side and having A LOT of other things taking up my time----sorry to either of them if I ever seemed like a crazy person, lol) go extremely smoothly. I cant stop driving the car or smiling whenever I step on the gas. I will truly be sad to give it back to my father for Xmas. He thinks I brought the car up to fix his head-gasket and paint his hood. Little does he know he is getting a more reliable and more powerful beast than ever before!

-next stop, driveshaft shop!

This is my F24C-T S2000(well, my dads, but i own everything minus the chassis, no im not some 16 year old punk. I worked LONG and HARD to put the money I have into this):

Car: 2002 Honda S2000
Tuner: Jeff Evans
Fuel: 93 Octane
Boost: 17psi
Inj. Duty Cycle: 83%

Tune was done on a cold day(sub 50 degrees) with lots of moisture in the air(raining outside) November 4th, 2010

Setup:
InlinePro Stage I/II turbo kit
InlinePro F20 to F24C stroker kit:
----IP billet crank, rods, MAhle 10:1 pistons, ACL bearings, OEM FRM Sleeves
PE Ball-bearing, oil cooled turbo
ID1000s
Hondata(emissions legal and inspectable)
Comp. clutch Stage5/flywheel
Vibrant High Flow Catalytic Converter

(Top lines are 17psi/500whp-375wTQ-----Bottom Lines are 10psi/425whp-280wTQ
power comes on a lot sooner/harder compared to my old setup(only thing changed was displacement/compression ratio, even the spark plugs are from the same tune!):

(old dyno sheet on stock 2.0liter---Top lines are 14psi 440whp/275wTQ-----Bottom Lines are 10psi 325whp/225wTQ)

and vid of the 500whp dyno run(yes, the dipstick blows out. It is due to the car not having valve cover breathers. has since been corrected and does not blow dipstick or ingest oil=)

comments, questions, suggestions welcome!

(Hood is being painted this winter, so it will be stealth again=)

Im mostly lurk, but will occasionally post to ask questions.

if you are in central PA and want to check out a turbo S dont hesitate to ask!

CLIFFNOTES: InLine Pro and Jeff Evans are the best at what they do and I can not thank them enough. HUGE props to making this segment(car community) such a great one!

I would suggest them to anyone and everyone who is following the same basic route as myself.

also, I used your pictures in your for sale thread for the Air/oil separator to route my lines and decide on my canister. It works spectacularly now!

I'm glad to see the car is doing well. Just to let you know that engine actually has the Mahle pistons being used on the OEM FRM sleeves.

We are working on the cams to compliment the new larger displacement. I have been trying to get them made for about 3 years now and I finally have a good source for the core's and getting them ground. I have 1 profile that I like that will fit with the factory valves which I will be testing hopefully before the new year. If it works good I have 5 sets of billet cores waiting that will get the same grind.

Enjoy the car!

Evans is def. the way to go. I've been back to him a couple of times and will be going back again after my next build is ready.

Glad to hear you are doing well with the car! I was wondering when you were going to post something up on here.

I really think the 2.4 strokers are the way to go on the s2000s after seeing how much power difference/useable power compared to the 2.0's. Everything is moved to the left on the graph about 1500 rpms. With the right set of cams and intake manifold combination the power can be brought back in up top as well.
I cant thank you enough, again, GREAT WORK!
