Default Inline pro kit tuned on the street

So we started tuning the turbo on the street. Partial throttle settings are looking great. at WOT, its hitting 10.5 pounds of boost all the way through but drops off to 8.5 at 8-9k. What could be causing this? Bov, Leak, exhaust, etc?

Also, what vtec engagement due turbo cars normally run. I have it now at 5700.

What turbo comes w/the kit?

More than likely a vac leak somewhere.

Its a GT30 ball bearing. The mani is a log mani. I found out today tha the bov is adjustable, its a turbosmart. It wasnt all the way turned in. It was probably 3-4 complete turns loose. Would that cause a leak?

And worst case scenario, is it easier on the engine boost going lower as it gets to higher rpm's? Main factor here is reliability before anything.
