Let me know how It turns out. I am trying to decide what to do with my engine. currently I am told cyl 3 is low on compression and the thing smokes everywhere, thru the exhaust, ac vents, etc it's got blow by it believe too. Not sure if I want to rebuild it for more boost or just drop in another oem motor. my main goal is reliability even though the car won' t see many miles

how much is it to upgrade to there stage 2? I may try to do that as well.Mine was tuned conservatively at 10psi. Car ran great for a few years but then just started smoking not sure what went out on it or how. Maybe tune, or just the stock block went bad? I was thinking if sending my motor to inline pro but still nt sure

Idk the upgrade cost. But I may piece it together with different parts due to new designs and options out there. I try to avoid long down time on mine cause my daily is my 2012 tundra and its not too friendly on gas. Lol. Also. Did you upgrade your diff or stayed stock?

diff is stock, I never launch it so its been fine. ya down time isn't much of an issue for me, I got my Evo to drive as a dd. Curious on why you don't trust excessive to tune yours? It's been almost 6 years since he tuned mine.

Back in the day when I turbod my rx8 the shop had so many people in an out the door. I didn't know who would be in my car or tunning it. I had andy at dynotune in watertown tune the rx8. I know joey got a new shop but I just am going off first impressions even though it was years ago. I may trailer it to kings in wisconsin next spring.

any updates to your build? Looks like I may ship my car somewhere to get the engine built and tuned but not sure yet. I need to find a more daily driver friendly clutch as well. My Comp Stage 4 clutch just sucks driving
