Thanks for all the input everyone. I feel like I have a much better understanding in what I will be getting myself into now.

Btw, I don't think I can use kpro because my S is an '05. Is kpro now available for '05 and under? I was thinking of getting the AEM EMS to run it.

^Thanks for the heads up about your friends kit for sale. But, I'm really only interested in the IP Stage 2. I also prefer buying a new kit over used.

Heres another question, do I need 3mm head gasket? I've seen some people using the stock head gasket making 500+whp with out issues. Would I be okay for my needs, or is it safer to just get the 3mm?
You can use K pro, you need to swap some sensors, valve cover & cam trigger wheels to make it work, its about $300 worth of parts & 2-3 hours worth of work with the engine out of the car. I would just get AEM EMS or maybe Haltech.

Instead of doing a HG, run E85. There are a bunch of stations near us that sell it.

Thanks Kev, yeah I was sure I could pass without the 3mm head gasket. I didn't know I had to do all that with the kpro. I'm definitely going AEM EMS now lol. Finally, without the EMU I will be able to go to Evan's.

Nice prices. I will definitely let you know when I'm ready to purchase. Probably close to summer.

Sweet dyno Turbost00k. Power comes in sooner than I expected. Btw, what clutch are you using?

Anybody track their car with this kit? Seems like overheating will be an issue. I'm definitely getting this kit, but it would be nice to be able to track without any issues.

Thanks for all the input again guys.

If you want to track the car you may want to look at the ptuning kit.

wow...can't beleive you're not happy with GReddy kit..
I checked out their dyno at DSport mag...4K they are at 200
crank HP whereas stock at 4K is 110 crankHP!

Low conservative reliable boost..CARB legal...and the ability
to go up another 75whp if desired.

And averaging 230 lb. ft. crank between 2.5K to 5.5K....this
solves any torque issues you might have with the S.

Never thought I'd go FI..but this kit is very attractive.
