Default inline pro stage 2 turbo kit

im in the market of purchasing the inline pro stage 2 turbo kit i want to start out around 450-500 hp to get use to driving the car and work my way up to 800hp, i was wondering if anyone had any input on if the 3 inch intercooler pipe is overkill and the 1000 hp intercooler? labor time and money is no concern, i figured if your gonna do something go all out, i know that with my base tune of 450-500 the bw s366 will not be at its ideal performance but i want to start there and work my way up. im not worried about any other components such as drive train i have all that being pieced together as i speak.

I have this kit w the 3" piping, just the 600 or 800 hp intercooler, though. Depending on mounting of the intercooler, you are going to need to find a way to still get good air flow to your radiator.

I dont think 3" is necessary, but why not? Just kind of a pain to route, and its easiest to just not use/remove the headlight support brackets.

im think im going to have to go all out on this one no point in having to upgrade later down the road and have to spend money twice one something like intercooler piping but i might be thinking that having a 4 inch thick intercool might be alittle over kill but whats the worst that could happen i end up speeding up my hp plans. so with getting air the radiator just put a bigger one in and up grade the fans should take care of any of the heating problems that would ever arise in the near future.

You also have to think about how the bumper will fit with an IC that big.

A proper fan shroud with a large single fan would help a great deal. I go.all out on these builds as well so definitely get creative! You can have an interooler made that's long and thin so you can keep your bumper support too

i figured that i would just use my spare bumper and cut into it if the piping reaches forward that much.?
