They are noisy transmissions with significant idle rattling (depending on your clutch/flywheel setup). This is due to the huge bearings being used throughout the transmission, and larger gears. This adds up to more backlash in the gears, which can give some low load rattling. It doesn't hurt the transmission though, and is a minor annoyance at worse IMO.

Its a great transmission option and since there are so many inquires on this InlinePRO opened up a preorder sale. i know a couple who have jumped on the preorder.

I am personally waiting on J2-370Z kit.

On a related note. I drive both transmission back to back and the s2k's does feel more rewarding and less vague. I'm sure that has quite a bit to do with how the rear sub frames of each car is mounted. The s2k is metal to metal. No bushings at all. The Z uses bushings and it's more difficult to feel what the rear tires are doing.

I've heard it's a tight fit and a lot of tunnel work is needed to get it to fit but that's just hearsay.

Just two very small spots that need tapped with a hammer, not much at all.

Any pictures of the t56 installed? Haven't seen anyone post pictures of the fitment yet.

I don't have any, sorry. There is a thread of another member that posted some pics of it installed I believe. Just do a bit of searching here for T56.
