Default Inlinepro 3mm headgasket drivability?

so for all you turbo guys out there....

After installing a 3mm IP headgasket.... does the car drive like a slug now?

Since lowering the compression, does it drive sluggish until the turbo spools???

I had drove on the their headgasket for about two weeks before I had the trubo installed. I really did not feel much of a difference. The car still got up there when needed. If your dwelling on rather or not to put their headgasket in because your worried it'll be a slug, you have nothing to worry about.

Your turboing you car or you already have? Either way go for it. At lower boost you won't have has much power, but once you start turning the boost up, your golden.

hmm...i never really thought about that. it felt like my car had more overall torque after i got my 3mm put on, but that could have been all in my head cuz i was so happy to drive to car after it being in the shop for soo long. if you are a tad worried about feeling sluggish just get gears and you will feel as if you never changed your head gasket at all.

as a matter of fact i just picked up my car TODAY from my mechanic and drove it home with a newly installed 3mm hg.

even the legendary billman could not feel the difference. on the other hand, we did a kpro install while we were at it so YMMV.

i certainly didnt feel anything different on the 30 mile drive home.

I don't see how thats possible. Not arguing, but you would think it would be more sluggish/down on power being that you drop 2 points on compression, thats alot..

I've wondered this same question, I didn't want to loose the off boost driveabilitly and pep after the h/g swap.

if anything it's at higher rpms. There's really not much to argue with considering some of us have put the 3mm hg in and have driven on it. Like I said I drove on it for a couple of weeks.
