Default Install question for CT aftercooler

Im about to install my aftercooler from Comptech/ CT and looking though the instructions, you need to wire in the coolant pump for the aftercooler into the OEM air pump wiring. Question is, that I removed my air pump system, Do I need to just hook the wires up to a power and a ground?

What have other people done when the OEM air pump is removed?

When you removed the pump did you remove the wiring too? I didn't.

You if you removed the wiring you will have to run your own. Needs to be switched on ignition. You could still use the circuit for the air pump.

AusS2000:

I did not remove the wiring, just unbolted and unplugged the airpump, the wiring is left there, would it be a problem just tapping it into the wiring???? [

Thanks!
