Default installing gt35r inline pro kit

As most of you know I've had my inline pro kit installed for almost a year now. I absolutely love it, but I'm ready for more power. I'm purchasing an aem ems, 1000cc injectors and aem meth injection kit within the next few weeks and getting a new tune. I have been going back and forth if I want to upgrade the turbo as well. I'm really considering purchasing a gt35r, but how much work is it going to take to put it in? I don't want to have to pay to have the "kit" put in twice and don't feel confront able notching the frame myself.

I suggest talking to inline pro and getting a the 6165 turbo over the gt35r. From what i am told its a better turbo all around. I have it on my car and love it. on 19psi i made 525whp on pump gas. Im pretty sure you could get it with a smaller cover (B cover) and wont have to notch the frame. Notching the frame isnt a big deal at all though. You simple take a grinder with a cutoff wheel and cut a small box out of the frame. Takes a couple of minutes and doesnt harm the car. I notched my car to fit the larger S cover.

Your plan seems solid to me, you may want to try and get more input about your current turbo. It seem like it was some sort of gt3571. Maybe more people here could let you know what kind of power it will make if you list it. From my research this seems to be the way to go or Hondata.

I have seen a couple guys going with the 61/65 over the 35r. Relatively new. Good luck with the build, when im out of college and have $$ i hope to see those numbers, Im still getting comfortable with 300 wheel, 525 on pump must be ridiculous!

525hp at 19psi would be perfect. Right now I'm at 415 at 16psi. I added a 3" exhaust and will be adding a 3" test pipe as well. Plus the meth and aem I figured I should get atleast 30-50hp extra. I'll give inline a pro shortly just wanted others feedback and knowledge.

The turbo is a percision 5965B. I'm not sure how much more power I'll be able to get with it and if it's even worth getting another tune with it. I've gone back and forth with getting a hondata as well. I just don't want to lay out another $1200 or so plus install for the kpro.

The Precision 5965 isnt really a 35R equivalent, its smaller actually. The 6162 is the equivalent. Honestly, the 5965 hotside is too big and the compressor too small. For the S2k, the Precision 6162 would be a better choice, and the 6165 isnt too bad either. If youre not pushing the turbo, go with the smaller hotside for better spool

The precision 5965b is what I have right now... I'll be pushing it, I'm shooting for over 500hp.

Oh, I read your original post wrong, sorry. 35R is nice, but the Precision 6162 equivalent costs less and makes probably a touch more power due to a better turbine wheel.

The compressor is between GT3076 and GT35, but the turbine is GT35 size.
