Was able to work on installing the radiator, oil cooler and oil pump today.

I'm not sure if the -8AN x 3/8" NPT Male Union fitting should be screwed all the way into the oil pump. I was able to screw the left as much as I can without forcing it. I don't want to put on too much torque and break the threads.

On the install instructions the fitting goes to the nut...

Yeah the oil pump fittings are like that but you might want to go back and put honda bond or some type of sealant on the threads. I forced it down some on my car and no leaks but it leaked on my friend's car without honda bond.

Took a closer look at the install picture and looks like there is thread sealant at the fitting. Everything looks good. I will be putting Permatex High temp thread sealant on all AN NPT fittings. http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-59214...7499028&sr=8-2

The black fittings on the oil pump are male AN x male NPT fitting. We recommend you use liquid teflon sealant or teflon tape for the NPT (tapered thread). The AN thread does not require any type of sealant (AN threads seal on the 37 Degree flare seat at the tip of the fittings). If you're concern about the AN threads coming loose, you can put a tiny drop of blue loctite on the thread (don't coat the entire thread) just to keep the vibration from working the fittings loose. The NPT threads are designed to deform when tighten and does not need anything other than a teflon sealant.

Updated the first post.

Is there something wrong with this picture? Think I didn't get the right 1000cc injector for my AP1. Or does anybody know how to make it work for the stock rail?

Yep, I don't think those injectors are right. I have the FIC 1000s for mine and they look different.

By the way, just from eyeballing it, do you think the turbo would clear everything if the compressor was rotated 180 degrees so that the outlet was facing downwards? Considering upgrading to the PTuning stuff, but I don't like the piping going up... would much rather have it go down and under like with most other bottom mount kits.

Getting replacement injectors as we speak.
I see what you are saying. Clocking the outlet downwards will not clear the frame.

Rotating the compressor outlet will not work with our setup. It would put the piping at or below the subframe which would make it overly complicated to route the hotside charge pipe.

Thanks. Good to know at least.

Guess I might have to just compromise on that.
